GUIDE ON HOW TO SHARE INTERNET USING CONNECTIFY

Description

This will guide you on how to setup connectify in your computer to share your internet even without using a router. This is a simple steps and it is intended for newbie. You can install it in Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows Xp. Please read carefully and follow the instruction given below. It might not work when you are using firewall software, so before using it, you must disable first your firewall before proceeding.

REQUIREMENTS

1. laptop WiFi capable or desktop with WiFi dongle.

2. Operating system (Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Xp).

3. Connectify Software.

STEPS

1. First of all you must get the software and download  here.

2. After downloading the software install it in its default directory. See the picture below.

3. Run the software. In the Hotspot Name field, type the name what you want. If you prefer to add password, type in your password in the password field so that only people you want to connect to your network. In my case, I named my network "wifi hotspot" and i prefer to put password in it to secure my connection. See image below.

4. Below the password field you can see the internet option. Choose your wireless device and click start.

5. After clicking the start button, wait for a second until you see it is connected.

6. You're done. You have now successfully share your internet to your neighbors.

WHAT YOU CAN DO AFTER SUCCESSFULLY CONNECT THE CONNECTIFY

1. You can share your internet via laptop capable WiFi with your neighbors.

2. You can do LAN games with your neighbors even more computer connected to your network.

3. You can share computer resources like printers, transfer documents and LAN chat.

4. You can remotely turn off their pc too if you want lol.
